  • Our team conducts relevant competitor and keyword research (search volume, keyword difficulty, and search intent) to inform and validate your content strategy. We then propose a series of content topics (and mediums) for you to review and give feedback on.

  • Once we have approval on a content topic, we prepare a content brief. The brief includes a list of core keywords we will target, as well as links to content that is already ranking for those keywords. We also include a rough outline of the piece to gather feedback from your team.

  • Once a content brief has been approved, our team prepares and interviews a subject matter expert on your team or an industry expert. We gather the initial direction and ideas necessary to capture your perspective on the chosen topic. We’ll also conduct additional external research after the interview to help inform the content creation.

  • Here we write a first draft of the content piece, taking into consideration subject matter, brand voice, keyword strategy, and overall value to your audience. We provide the initial draft to your chosen subject matter expert for review and we address all feedback – this process typically takes 1 to 2 rounds of revisions.

  • Blog pieces are greatly enhanced with a featured image or graphic (e.g. illustration), as well as supporting graphics throughout the piece. Our design team creates custom illustrations and sources and edits appropriate imagery.

  • Once the content and graphics have been approved, we launch the piece on your behalf and notify you that your new content is live. Following launch, we coordinate additional promotion pieces such as social assets and copy.
